This role focuses on fabricating and MIG welding oil field parts in a manufacturing environment, ensuring high-quality, structurally sound welds that meet production and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate oil field parts using appropriate tools, equipment, and welding processes.
• Perform MIG welding on various components to produce high-quality, structurally sound welds.
• Interpret and read blueprints to understand specifications, dimensions, and welding requirements.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and fabrication tools safely and efficiently.
• Inspect completed welds and fabricated parts to verify accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications.
• Work up to 60 hours per week to meet production schedules and project deadlines.
• Follow all safety procedures and best practices while working with welding and fabrication equipment.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and resolve production issues.

Essential Skills

• Proven ability to perform MIG welding in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Hands-on experience fabricating parts and components, preferably for oil field applications.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Capability to work up to 60 hours per week, including extended shifts.
• Experience with TIG welding.
• Experience with stick welding.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and use welding equipment correctly.

Work Environment

This position operates in a manufacturing and fabrication setting focused on oil field parts. The schedule runs Monday through Saturday from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the expectation of working up to 60 hours per week. You will work with MIG, TIG, and stick welding equipment, as well as standard fabrication tools, in a production-oriented environment that emphasizes safety and adherence to procedures. The role involves standing for extended periods, working around industrial machinery, and following any required attire or protective equipment guidelines appropriate for welding and fabrication work.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oklahoma City, OK.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
