Field Technician/Installer Job Description

Role Overview

This is a 1099 independent contractor role ideal for individuals looking to add supplemental, low-complexity work to their schedule. Installers set their availability and capacity in advance. Jobs are assigned; installers are responsible for coordinating appointments directly with members/caregivers and completing work within required timeframes (SLA-driven).

Responsibilities

Coordinate appointment scheduling directly with clients

Delivery, initial setup and testing of personal emergency response equipment in clients' homes

Educate clients/caregivers on device usage, features and maintenance

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation

Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls and client interactions using company software

Collaborate with member support and installer coordinators to provide seamless support to members

Obtain appropriate signatures via Docusign on all required paperwork during installation appointments

Adhere to all safety protocols, regulatory requirements and company policies during installations
