Only through the strength of our employees will we attain our business goals.POSITION OVERVIEW AND PURPOSEThis role will be responsible for loading, unloading, stacking, sorting and segregating, and case picking product. This role may operate a pallet jack to accomplish some of the tasks above.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIESFollowing proper handling procedure for products within the facilityWorking with accuracy and attention to detail on product ordersMaintaining and working in a safe manner, in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration standardsPalletizing goods and materials to put on trucks for transportationSuccessfully completing assigned tasks through coordination and teamwork with fellow warehouse employees and leadersPerforming other duties as neededBASIC QUALIFICATIONSHigh school graduate or general education degree (GED) from an accredited institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceMust be capable of learning and retaining the skills needed to work in a safe, productive mannerMust be able to work independently as well as in a teamMust possess a solid work ethic, excellent interpersonal skillsAbility to work overtime and weekends occasionally as requiredAbility to multitask, prioritize and change direction mid-streamJOB LEVEL QUALIFICATIONSWAREHOUSE OPERATOR I 0-2 years of warehouse experience. Cold storage warehouse preferred but not required.Stand Up Forklift, Electric Pallet Jack, Counterbalance Forklift experience preferred but not required.WAREHOUSE OPERATOR II 3-4 years of warehouse experience. Cold storage warehouse preferred but not required.Stand Up Forklift experience required.Experience using other MHE equipment preferred but not required.Must be able to work at a Warehouse Operator I level as needed for coverage.WAREHOUSE OPERATOR III 5 years or more of warehouse experience. Cold storage warehouse preferred but not required.Reach truck experience required.Must possess the skills to cross training Warehouse Operator I and II employees as necessary to fulfill customer demands and maintain warehouse efficiencies and productivity.Must be able to work at a Warehouse Operator I or II as needed for coverage.Must be comfortable working at multiple height levels within a warehouse environment.Arcadia Cold Storage and Logistics is an equal opportunity employer.
