Hardware Logistics & Inventory Coordinator Employment Type: W2 Contract (not open to H1B, C2C, or 1099) Contract Duration: 6 months Pay Rate: $37–$42 per hour Work Schedule: 40 hours per week Work Arrangement: 100% onsite Primary Site: San Francisco (with occasional travel to Sunnyvale, CA) Role Overview The Hardware Logistics & Inventory Coordinator is responsible for managing the accurate flow of high‑value hardware through the organization’s primary logistics hub. This role oversees daily warehouse activities including receiving, inventory control, storage, and outbound fulfillment in support of engineering, R&D, and external assembly partners. The coordinator serves as the first point of contact for inbound shipments, ensuring all hardware is inspected, documented, and entered into inventory systems with a strong focus on accuracy and traceability. The role also manages outbound component shipments, return processes, and inter‑site inventory transfers, while maintaining a clean, secure, and well‑organized warehouse environment. This is a hands‑on, onsite position that works closely with cross‑functional teams to support operational continuity and product development timelines in a fast‑paced warehouse setting. Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, label, and scan incoming high‑value hardware shipments into the inventory management system with a high degree of accuracy Unbox and process palletized freight while ensuring proper handling and documentation Pick, pack, and ship discrete hardware components to third‑party assembly and integration partners Ensure strict bill of materials (BOM) compliance and serial number traceability for all outbound shipments Maintain a clean, secure, and well‑organized warehouse environment Manage return merchandise authorization (RMA) processes, including repackaging and shipping defective or unused components back to suppliers Fulfill daily parts requests from engineering and R&D teams Coordinate inventory transfers between San Francisco and the Sunnyvale R&D site Occasionally transport parts between locations to support urgent engineering needs Adhere to safety procedures and warehouse best practices at all times Qualifications 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory control involving high‑value assets Hands‑on experience using inventory or warehouse management systems and barcode scanning tools Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate inventory records Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs safely Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel occasionally between local sites Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, physical warehouse environment Preferred Qualifications Forklift certification or prior experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks Experience supporting hardware, electronics, or technical components Familiarity with ERP or fleet/inventory tracking systems Prior experience supporting engineering, R&D, or manufacturing teams #J-18808-Ljbffr ICON Consultants, LP
