Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Operating Room (OR) located in Farmington, New Mexico. This position involves supporting surgical procedures across diverse specialties, including neuro, orthopedic, trauma, vascular, and obstetrics/gynecology. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Farmington, New Mexico
• Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, four 10-hour shifts with variable call (4-5 shifts per month)
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
• Required Qualifications: Must have at least 2 years of experience as an RN in an operating room setting; valid RN license; current certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association; education as an RN.
• Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in neuro, orthopedic, trauma, vascular, and obstetrics/gynecology surgical procedures; experience supporting patients and surgeons with significant traumatic injuries; ability to anticipate instruments, supplies, and equipment needs during procedures.
• Additional Information: Candidate must be highly skilled, competent, and confident in handling a wide range of surgical cases from quick lap procedures to complex abdominal or chest trauma cases. Supporting documentation must include a resume, submission form, area specific competency exam, skills checklist, and screening questions. Candidates should demonstrate a minimum overall skills checklist rating of 3.2, with proficiency in neuro, orthopedic, trauma, vascular, and OBGYN skills.
