Your future role at a glance Location: Elk Grove Village, IL Facility: Ascension Alexian Brothers Department: Radiation Oncology Schedule: Day shift | Part-time 32 hrs per week Salary range: $40.55 - $59.30 per hour How you'll make an impact in this role Safely administer radiation therapy by delivering prescribed doses to specific patient areas. Prepare and accurately position patients, collaborating with physicians and dosimetrists to execute treatment plans. Maintain and calibrate technical equipment, including linear accelerators, to ensure operational accuracy. Maintain detailed session records and ensure prompt, high-quality submission of all images and data to PACS. Enforce regulatory standards and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly department environment. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Radiation Therapist credentialed from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Radiation Therapist credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date required. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
