Hurdle's Jewelry requires a specific and unique person who is caring, energetic, and who genuinely loves to help clients through sales and/or helping with their jewelry repair needs. Multi-tasking and being detail oriented is a must.

We are a family owned and operated four generation jewelry business with a heavy emphasis on the clients overall experience through education, sales and repair services.

We are looking for someone who is detail oriented with a genuine caring personality who is open to learn many new things about our business and apply them to any situation when necessary. Someone who is friendly and confident with the ability to empathize while working with clients. You will be expected to work the sales floor and follow up on previous sales, repairs, special orders etc... in a timely matter to provide the best customer service experience possible.

You will be working in a team environment working in all aspects of a retail jewelry store including Sales, customer service and office work along with full follow through of all customer contact including but not limited to repairs, appraisals, special orders and custom work. Acquiring merchandise as needed for clients to view. In addition, you will assist in all other aspects of maintenance and operations including cleaning, filing and maintenance of displays.

Expectations:

Within 90 days you should have a full working knowledge of the Point of Sale system and all basic procedures as described in our policy and procedure.

Within 6 months you should be able to understand and describe all aspects of the merchandise, including diamond grades, watches, colored gemstones and metals.

Be able to change batteries and quote repairs.

$52,000.00 to $60,000.00 annual salary + potential group commission depending on existing skill set.

15 days FTO (Floating time off)

9:00am to 6:00pm Mon - Sat

1 hour lunch

Our focus is on fine jewelry of the highest quality. We carry bridal jewelry, colored gemstone and diamond fashion jewelry, fine Swiss watches as well as doing custom designing and production including repairs, all on site.

This is a relaxed but professional environment.

You will be working in a team environment working in all aspects of a retail jewelry store including Sales, customer service and office work along with full follow through of all customer contact including but not limited to jewelry repairs, watch repairs, changing watch batteries, appraisals, special orders and custom work. Acquiring merchandise as needed for clients to view. In addition, you will assist in all other aspects of maintenance and operations including cleaning, filing and maintenance of displays. Proficiency with computer systems and technology required.

We are looking for someone who is inviting, caring, outgoing and can multitask. You will be expected to work the sales floor and follow up on previous sales, repairs, special orders etc... in a timely matter to provide the best customer service experience possible.

· Hours are 9:00 to 6:00 Monday - Saturday, closed on Sundays.
