Three Rivers, Michigan Direct Hire Opportunity Competitive Benefits Package Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Reliance One, Inc. is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to support one of our trusted clients in a manufacturing operation in a unionized environment. This position plays a key role in labor relations, employee engagement, compliance, performance management, and HR strategy development while partnering closely with plant leadership to support operational success. Key Responsibilities Provide mentorship, guidance, and leadership to HR team members Serve as the primary HR contact for plant leadership and union representatives Administer and interpret collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) Manage grievances, arbitrations, and contract negotiations Advise leadership on employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives to support staffing goals Coach managers on performance management and employee development Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws including OSHA, FMLA, ADA, and EEO Analyze HR metrics and develop action plans to improve workforce engagement and performance Manage training and development initiatives Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives Oversee performance review processes and development planning Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required Master’s degree or HR certification preferred 5+ years of HR leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment Strong labor relations and union environment experience required Proven negotiation experience and ability to manage complex employee relations matters Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite If you are looking for an opportunity to make an impact within a growing manufacturing organization while helping shape workplace culture and employee engagement, let’s connect!
