We are looking for a Jobscope Developer (RPG Developer) to join Kaiser Aluminum at our corporate office in Franklin, Tennessee! The Jobscope Developer (RPG Developer) will support, enhance, and maintain the Jobscope ERP system. The role involves working with IBM i (AS/400) technologies, including RPG programming, to develop custom solutions, troubleshoot system issues, and optimize business processes across manufacturing and distribution functions.This is an onsite position at our corporate office in Franklin Tennessee. At this time, we are not able to offer visa sponsorship for this role, either now or in the future. Therefore, we cannot move forward with candidates who would require sponsorship and or are on (e.g., H-1B, F-1, STEM OPT, OPT) visas.What you will work on:Develop, modify, and maintain applications within the Jobscope ERP system.Write, test, and debug programs using RPG (RPG IV / RPGLE / Free-format RPG).Support IBM i (AS/400) environment, including system integrations and enhancements. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Customize Jobscope modules (Manufacturing, Inventory, Finance, Order Processing, etc.) Perform system testing, deployment, and documentation of changes. Troubleshoot and resolve production and system issues. Collaborate with business users, IT teams, and vendors for ongoing improvements. Provide user support and technical guidance.Job RequirementsWhat you will bring to the position:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience) Five plus (5+) years of experience in RPG programming on IBM i (AS/400) Prior experience with Manufacturing ERP systems Strong knowledge of RPGLE, CL, DDS, PDM, SDA Experience with SQL on IBM i Ability to debug, troubleshoot, and optimize legacy codeStrong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with a focus on qualityPreferred experience:AS400/RPG Mfg/Distribution systemsMAPICS / Infor XABPCS / Infor LXJD Edwards WorldPRMSSystem21Preferred SkillsExperience with free-format RPG and modern IBM i toolsExperience with COBOLKnowledge of system integrationsFamiliarity with EDI, FTP, DBU, Hawkeye, TL AshfordExperience with change management and version control toolsWe are an equal opportunity employer.
