Utility Aide-MMTP Clinic 8-Full Time, M-F, 6:45am to 3pm Responsible for general cleaning of the department assigned. Collective bargaining unit: SEIU 1199-MSBI SEIU 1199 at Mount Sinai Beth Israel and MS Downtown, AJK - MMTP Clinic 8 - BI, Mount Sinai Beth Israel Responsibilities Handles infectious waste/spills: cleans quickly and in accordance with OSHA safety guidelines. Responsible for general cleaning: all bathroom cleaning, sweeping, mopping, waxing, buffing, garbage removal tasks completed daily; all surface wiping, UV lights cleaning and other special projects to be completed as needed Stores and replenishes supplies: appropriate weekly inventory reporting, quick and efficient unloading of deliveries, quick and efficient storing of supplies Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of one-year related housekeeping experience Equal Opportunity Employer The Mount Sinai Health System is an equal opportunity employer, complying with all applicable federal civil rights laws. Compensation The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $25.30 - $27.20 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need.
