APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in Lancaster, OH looking to add Lab Technicians to their already amazing team. Their primary responsibility will be to prepare and analyze samples while maintaining laboratory equipment, glassware, records, and testing processes to ensure accurate and timely results. What your day will look like:

• Prepare samples and perform analytical testing on materials and wastewater.
• Accurately document and report test results and laboratory records.
• Operate, troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Monitor wastewater treatment quality and ensure compliance with discharge limits.
• Identify and resolve laboratory and wastewater issues.
• Support battery process research, test method development, and production quality.
• Prepare chemical solutions and dilutions according to established procedures.
• Follow GLP, SDS, SOPs, and laboratory safety requirements.
• Perform preventative maintenance and coordinate equipment repairs and servicing.
• Maintain accurate waste-stream records and notify appropriate personnel of required actions.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Chemistry preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in analytical chemistry and laboratory instrumentation.
• Strong knowledge of metals, acid-base reactions, and battery chemistry.
• Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
