This structured, hands‑on program is designed to provide comprehensive exposure to the operations, client service, and business development aspects of a modern financial advisory practice. This is a structured, minimum 150‑hour program designed to transition theoretical knowledge into practical, professional skills within a real‑world financial environment. The Intern may be considered permanent opportunity based on performance. The Firm’s Philosophy This internship offers unique exposure to a fee‑based independent advisory firm. Key Responsibilities The Intern will be actively involved in three core areas, focusing on execution and support: I. Client Support & Advisory Immersion Shadow seasoned Financial Advisors during client review meetings and internal strategy sessions. Assist in preparing comprehensive client review materials, including gathering financial documentation and updating performance illustrations. Support logistics and material preparation for prospective client presentations and support the initial client enrollment/intake process. Develop a fundamental understanding of Fiduciary Standards and the firm’s fee‑based commitment to the client’s best interest. II. Operational & Administrative Management Demonstrate proficiency in routine office operations, including compliance document handling, filing, and mail distribution. Utilize and create analytical Excel spreadsheets to support internal projects, such as tracking metrics or segment analysis. Execute essential administrative and marketing duties, including preparing professional reports and correspondence using firm templates. Manage a high volume of incoming telephone calls and professionally direct client inquiries. Complete training and achieve proficiency in the firm’s client data system (CRM/reporting tools). III. Business Development & Marketing Actively participate in the organization and execution of promotional events (seminars, workshops) for new clients/investors. Draft professional outreach and invitation correspondence (print/email) for marketing initiatives. Support post‑event client acquisition efforts by conducting follow‑up calls to prospective attendees. Participate in company‑sponsored or community networking events to understand their role in practice growth. Required Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional telephone etiquette. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to data privacy and ethical conduct. Ability to commit to the minimum 150‑hour duration of the program.
