Cherry Picker/Reach Truck Operator

Medical Supplies Distributor

$19.00 per hour

Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm + OT as needed

Onsite in Lockbourne, OH

What You’ll Do:

Receive picking orders or instructions from supervisors or the warehouse management system (WMS).
Locate items in the warehouse using handheld scanners, picking lists, or WMS technology.
Pick items from shelves, bins, or pallets according to order specifications, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Verify item quantities, descriptions, and conditions to ensure they match the picking order and meet quality standards.
Pack picked items securely in containers, boxes, or packaging materials to prevent damage during transportation.
Label packages with appropriate shipping labels, barcodes, or identification tags for sorting and tracking purposes.
Prepare picked orders for shipment by staging them in designated areas or delivering them to packing stations.
Report any inventory discrepancies, damaged items, or safety hazards to supervisors for resolution.

What We’re Looking For:

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience with warehouse equipment and tools, such as handheld scanners, pallet jacks, and forklifts (reach truck and cherry picker).
Ability to read and interpret picking orders, packing slips, and shipping labels accurately.
Physical stamina and strength to lift and carry items, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
Attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing items to prevent errors and minimize order discrepancies.
