We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support a busy food and food processing operation in Baldwinsville, New York. This contract opportunity has the potential to become permanent and is ideal for someone who enjoys assisting customers, handling high-volume communication, and keeping order information accurate and up to date. The person in this role will serve as a key point of contact for incoming inquiries while helping ensure requests are processed efficiently and professionally.

Responsibilities:
• Respond to incoming customer calls with professionalism, providing timely assistance and clear information.
• Enter customer orders accurately into company systems and verify details to support smooth processing.
• Handle a steady volume of call center activity while maintaining a positive and service-focused approach.
• Make outbound calls as needed to confirm order information, address questions, or provide updates.
• Resolve routine customer concerns by gathering details, identifying solutions, and escalating more complex issues when appropriate.
• Maintain organized and accurate records of customer interactions, requests, and order activity.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer needs are addressed promptly and service expectations are met.• At least 2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in a call center or high-volume support environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage inbound calls efficiently while delivering a detail-focused customer experience.
• Experience with order entry and strong attention to detail when handling customer information.
• Comfortable making outbound calls to clarify requests, confirm details, or communicate updates.
• Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with a wide range of customers.
• Solid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple requests at once.
• Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn internal systems and processes quickly.
