Assess patients from pediatric to geriatric demographics utilizing standardized assessments and observational methods.

Create customized treatment strategies addressing both immediate and long-range communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.

Deliver individualized speech therapy interventions focused on language, communication, fluency, voice, and swallowing.

Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, and family members to develop integrated care plans.

Provide educational guidance to patients and families to facilitate continued progress outside of therapy sessions.

Occasionally conduct inpatient speech therapy evaluations and treatments, ensuring a seamless continuity of care during the recovery process.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation that adheres to state, federal, and institutional protocols.

Stay abreast of advancements in the field through ongoing education and collaborative dialogue with peers.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.

Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is not achieved yet.

State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) issued by ASHA.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.

Expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities for all age groups, alongside a thorough comprehension of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and comprehensive care teams.

Flexibility to tailor therapy methods to accommodate varied cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Strong analytical and clinical judgment, coupled with innovative problem-solving capabilities.

Comfortable utilizing electronic medical records and observing documentation standards.
