Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Member of Technical Staff to join our Platform Engineering team in our San Francisco office. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our core platform, which is the backbone of our products and services. This is a full-time, permanent position with excellent opportunities for growth and advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain our core platform using the latest technologies and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the platform
- Optimize and improve the performance and scalability of the platform
- Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate new technologies to enhance the platform
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Experience at a Pre-seed-Series B startup OR former founder
- Experience as a platform, full stack, or backend software engineer in fast moving and high growth companies
- Big tech experience before going to a startup
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5 - 12 years of experience in platform/full stack engineering, building RL environments or ML infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with databases and SQL
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Passion for learning and staying updated with new technologies
