Paint Packaging Operations Specialist — Louisville, KYPay: $22.99/hour | Schedule: 2nd shift, Mon–Thu, 10:00 AM–8:45 PM (OT as needed)Benefits: Full-time benefits packageIs this you?Do you enjoy hands-on work with automated equipment?Are you quality‑minded and safety‑driven?Do you thrive on teamwork and clear communication?What you’ll handleOperate and adjust automated filling lines for paints, stains, and related materials.Perform in‑process quality checks: fill levels, label placement, and code verification.Report equipment or process issues to supervisors or maintenance right away.Stage product onto conveyors and keep materials moving.Use a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) to deliver supplies and remove finished goods.Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards in your work zone.Contribute ideas to improve throughput and line efficiency.Assist with additional duties as assigned.What you’ll need to succeedMust be 18+; willing to work overtime when required.Ability to read and follow English instructions and procedures.Comfort wearing PPE: hard hat, steel/composite‑toe shoes, gloves, safety glasses, and more as needed.Comfort in variable temperatures; able to stand long periods and climb stairs.Capable of bending, reaching, and lifting while handling hoses, drums, or similar items.Lift up to 50 pounds safely.Ability to safely operate a PIT.Basic computer skills, ideally with SAP, Vorne, or similar tools.Complete required safety training and show understanding.Why The Pittsburgh Paints CompanyJoin a collaborative team where your ideas matter and your growth is encouraged.
