Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during patient examinations and minor procedures.

• Prepare patients for appointments by obtaining vital signs, medical histories, and documenting information accurately.

• Coordinate patient flow, phone calls, lab work, and follow-up nurse visits to ensure efficient clinic operations.

• Administer medications and perform clinical tasks within the Medical Assistant scope of practice.

• Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced outpatient clinic.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Current listing on the Nebraska Medication Aide Registry.

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.

• Must hold ONE of the following certifications:

  • CMA (AAMA)

  • CCMA (NHA)

  • RMA (AMT/ARMA or equivalent)

  • Certifications accepted from AAMA, AMT, NCCT, NHA, NHCWA, ARMA, or NRCMA.

• 0-2 years of Medical Assistant experience preferred.

• Travel position only - Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not eligible.

• Consistent weekday schedule with no rotating shifts or weekends.

• Work in a collaborative outpatient clinic where you'll build strong patient relationships.
