Healthcare Intake Coordinator

Memory Training Centers of Florida is a growing clinical practice dedicated to optimizing the quality of life for seniors throughout Florida. As we continue to expand were looking for a compassionate organized and energetic Healthcare Intake Coordinator to join our administrative team.

What Youll Do

As our Healthcare Intake Coordinator youll play an important role in creating a smooth experience for new and existing patients while supporting our clinical team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinate the new patient intake process from initial referral through scheduling
  

• Communicate with patients families senior living communities and referral sources
  

• Schedule and confirm patient appointments
  

• Collect and verify patient demographic insurance and intake information
  

• Ensure required intake forms and documentation are completed accurately
  

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient information in our EHR and tracking systems
  

• Organize and maintain electronic patient records
  

• Follow up on incomplete documentation and outstanding intake items
  

• Coordinate with clinicians and internal team members to ensure patients are ready to begin services
  

• Provide friendly professional support to senior patients and their families
  

• Assist with day-to-day administrative needs as our practice continues to grow
  

Requirements

What Were Looking For

• Prior experience in healthcare intake patient scheduling medical administration or patient coordination preferred
  

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  

• Comfortable managing multiple patients and priorities simultaneously
  

• Excellent telephone and communication skills
  

• Warm patient and professional when working with seniors and their families
  

• Comfortable working with electronic health records (EHR/EMR) and spreadsheets
  

• Able to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities
  

• Strong follow-up skills you dont like leaving loose ends
  

• Experience with AdvancedMD is a plus
  

• Experience with Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel is a plus
