Fayetteville Technical Community College is seeking qualified applicants for this position. Duties


The part-time adjunct will need to be able to teach and help the students accomplish the following:


Prepare the student to become EKG (ECG) and Technician/ Monitor. The course will cover the anatomy and physiology of the heart, principles of EKG, dysrhythmia recognition of sinus, junctional/atrial rhythms, heart blocks and bundle branches and ventricular ectopic rhythms. Skills will include operating EKG equipment and running 12 and 5 lead monitors and to understand the basics of capnography as it relates to heart function.

Minimum Qualifications


Associate Degree with at least 3 years of experience in an Health Care Related field to include experience in EKG/Cardiovascular Monitor Tech.

Preferred Qualifications


Teaching experience at the community college or four-year college. On-line teaching experience.
