Production Supervisor 
Shift - 1st (5:30AM - 2:30PM) 
Work Schedule - Monday through Friday (Saturdays are on a rotational basis as needed)
Wage type - Hourly, Rate - $33 - $36/hour 
Reports to - Production Manager

First Shift Production Supervisor for our Metals manufacturing environment.  In this role, you will be required to lead work teams in the safe and efficient manufacturing of quality products.
This position serves as a focal point of all production operations within the company and requires coordination of work with
other department supervisors, employees, engineering, and management to ensure timely delivery of quality parts.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for the completion of production orders by team members in assigned departments
Provide assigned teams direction and support, and provide training in proper work methods
Promote a strong safety culture and lead team members in following all organization and department safety
policies and procedures
Assign production tasks and solicit ideas from team members to improve processes, productivity, and timeliness
Communicate with team leads and manufacturing engineering on production orders and related issues.
Troubleshoot basic manufacturing problems to determine problems with materials or equipment

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred

3-5 years’ experience as a production supervisor in a metals manfuacturing environment.  
Knowledge of manufacturing standard practices for quality, efficiency, and safety
Good analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills
Strong computer skills and understanding and practical application of Microsoft Office and business software programs including ERP systems
