KH202 - Full-Time Temp Nanny - San Francisco, CA

Temp Nanny Position

A kind and worldly family located in the Bernal Heights neighborhood of San Francisco is looking for a full-time temp nanny for their 2.5-year-old daughter to start asap and continue through September. After September hours may change to part-time and the family is open to the nanny continuing on if it is a good fit. The general schedule will be Monday through Friday 8:20am-5:30pm. There may be opportunities for weekend hours if desired but very occasionally and not required.

Responsibilities

• Full childcare for an active 2.5 year old who loves to explore outdoors. She is described as friendly and sweet by her parents.
• During the child's 2-3 hour nap, cooking for the child. Someone excited to try new recipes would be ideal.
• Child-related tidying up and general help maintaining common areas. There is a weekly housekeeper who does deep cleaning but the nanny must be a team player (unloading dishwasher in the morning if there's time, picking up toys throughout the day, etc.)

Qualifications

• Active and energetic personality. Willing to spend time outdoors twice a day and comfortable walking up and down hills
• A nanny who follows the child's cues, sets healthy boundaries, and encourages her to learn from the world and be curious and adventurous.
• These parents are looking for a teammate who will bring ideas to the table and have intellectual conversations about upcoming milestones and developmental stages
• Good communicator, receptive to feedback, and happy to partner with parents
• Driver's license nice to have, nanny car available
• Background in early childhood education would be a plus

Requirements

• Comfortable walking in a hilly neighborhood and being active outside with a child
• Legal to work in the US
• Commuting distance from Bernal Heights
• Trustline certified, or willing to certify before start date

Salary and Benefits

$45-55 per hour
