Technician II

As a Technician II, your goal will be to calibrate, set-up and use measurement and test equipment. You will measure and record data for assigned projects and draft reports and communicate results.


You will do this by:

• Performing a variety of routine assignments of moderate complexity, including various engineering tests using sophisticated and/or specialized measurement devices and test equipment
• Fabricating prototype components and/or assemblies for product testing
• Measuring and documents all aspects of tests including objectives, procedures, results and conclusions
• Compiling and computing a variety of engineering data; may analyze test and design data and prepare reports
• Making recommendations for schematics, designs, test procedures and/or specifications
• Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree or equivalent education and experience
• Three years of experience working with small/large engines, engine powered equipment or industry related products
• Ability to set-up, calibrate and use sophisticated and or specialized measurement devices and test equipment
• Demonstrated ability to learn complex engineering software
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to create technical documents
• Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location

NY State Compensation:


For this position, the expected base annual salary range is $46,900 -$58,600 USDcommensurate with experience. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
