Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 3x12-hour shifts | Day/Night Rotation | Shift start times: 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM | Expected 36 hours/week | Every 3rd weekend as needed | Every other holiday | One call shift per schedule period

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care across a high-volume, 17-room OR staffed 24/7, supporting a broad range of surgical specialties including general, GYN, GU, oral, OTO, bariatrics, ortho, neuro, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pediatrics, trauma, and spine
• Perform scrub and circulating duties as required throughout assigned cases
• Demonstrate competency in at least 5 of the listed surgical services
• Maintain excellent communication and collaboration with surgical teams in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Float to an additional OR location within the system as needed
• Uphold a positive attitude and flexible approach to scheduling and assignment changes

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient OR experience
• Scrub experience required
• Competency in at least 5 surgical service lines
• Candidates residing less than 50 miles from the facility will be placed at a local rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level 1 trauma experience strongly preferred
• Neuro and vascular surgical experience preferred
• Scrub experience beyond general, GYN, and GU specialties preferred
