What Do I Need as a State Tested Nursing Assistant - STNA with McGregor?

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current and valid State Tested Nursing Certificate in Ohio

What Will I Do as a State Tested Nursing Assistant - STNA with McGregor?

• Assist residents with activities of daily living which include bathing and assist with baths, mouth care, hair care, toileting, skin care, nail care, eating, transferring, and ambulation.
• Perform restorative nursing programs for residents as assigned, document results, outcomes, or refusals of care.
• Maintain a safe environment for each resident; follow all care plans as indicated.
• Make resident rounds routinely report findings to the charge nurse.
• Respond to resident's lights promptly and provide necessary assistance to the resident.
• Perform delegated tasks such as R.O.M. exercises, application of TED hose, applying skin cream/location, and taking BP, pulse, respiration, temp, weights according to policy and procedure and report completion and results to Charge Nurse.
• Document complete and factual resident information on appropriate records in a timely manner.
