Job Summary:

We are looking for a friendly, professional, and organized Host/Hostess to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and positive dining experience. Your main responsibilities include greeting guests, managing reservations and waitlists, and guiding guests to their tables in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and professionally as they enter the restaurant.

• Manage reservations using a booking system (e.g., OpenTable or similar).

• Maintain an organized waitlist and provide accurate wait times.

• Escort guests to their tables, provide menus, and introduce their server.

• Answer the phone and respond to inquiries about the restaurant.

• Communicate effectively with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff regarding seating flow.

• Ensure the host stand and entry area are clean and presentable at all times.

• Assist with opening and closing duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous customer service or hosting experience preferred, but not required.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor.

• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

• Basic knowledge of restaurant operations is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
