We are hiring an Alarm Service Technician to install, service, test, and maintain residential and commercial intrusion systems, integrated security systems, and fire alarm systems. Reporting to the Field Operations Supervisor, this role handles a mix of scheduled installations, preventive maintenance visits, and break-fix service calls. No prior experience is required; on-the-job training is provided, with experienced technicians progressing through training more quickly. Candidates must have their own vehicle during training; company vehicles are expected to be available within a few weeks. A small background check is required, and immediate hiring is available.
Responsibilities
- Install residential and commercial intrusion systems, integrated security systems, and fire alarm systems.
- Complete system wiring and install door contacts.
- Replace batteries and perform equipment maintenance.
- Test alarm systems and troubleshoot service issues.
- Perform scheduled installations, preventive maintenance visits, and break-fix service calls.
- Provide customers with system instruction.
- Maintain accurate service documentation.
- Follow safety requirements during installation and service work.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to provide a personal vehicle during the training period.
- Willingness to complete a small background check.
- Ability to learn alarm installation, wiring, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures through on-the-job training.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous alarm or security systems experience.
- Experience with residential or commercial intrusion systems, integrated security systems, or fire alarm systems.
