As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Reception in Atlantic City, NJ , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor lobby and entry activity, greet visitors, verify access permissions, and support visitor management processes for a residential location.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate details to property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Answer phones, manage front desk communications, and document daily activity, maintenance concerns, and other security-related events in required logs and reports.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining awareness of the front desk area, observing cameras and/or alarm activity when assigned, and reporting unusual or suspicious behavior.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
