QA/QC - Austin, TX

Job Summary ACUREN is recruiting a QA/QC professional to support our operations in Austin, TX. The role involves reviewing field reports from technicians to ensure compliance with client Pipeline Integrity Procedures and reporting requirements before submitting final reports. Responsibilities Review all field reports from technicians prior to client submission. Use analytical and critical thinking skills to verify adherence to procedures and reporting standards. Qualifications Required Skills and Knowledge Knowledge of NDT industry methods (MT, PT, UT) Knowledge of client-specific reporting needs Experience with inline inspection data is a plus Knowledge of coating and cathodic protection is a plus Required Abilities MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Industry software (e.g., Creaform Pipecheck) Technical writing skills Effective verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail to identify numerical and visual anomalies Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of 3 years of quality review experience Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred Physical & Working Conditions Working Conditions Extreme cold and heat, proximity to moving mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, scaffolding, high places >100 ft, exposure to chemicals, fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, poor ventilation. Willingness to adapt to changing schedules, travel regularly including last minute and overnight, and overtime. Physical Job Requirements & Demands Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 75 pounds. Ascend and descend ladders, scaffolds, stairs; work in confined spaces and near loud equipment. Stand, walk, climb for extended periods; bend, kneel, crouch as needed. Navigate various surfaces and elevations with balance and mobility. Operate equipment and tools with hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Reach overhead and at various body heights. Adequate vision (with or without correction) for detailed work; adequate hearing for equipment alarms. Wear and operate required personal protective equipment (PPE).
