Medical Receptionist - Dermatology

We are looking for a part-time receptionist to join our growing team! While we prefer candidates with medical office experience, this is not a requirement. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-facing environment where multi-tasking and attention to detail are critical. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Scheduling & Check-In Managing a dynamic schedule for 3 providers Scheduling patients over the phone and in-person Calling and confirming appointments Verifying patient insurance information prior to appointment Collecting co-pays and outstanding balances at time of check-in Communications Answering inbound calls from patients, clinics, and others Routing calls to appropriate teams when necessary Diligently monitor voicemails, email, faxes, and test messagesto ensure all inquiries are handled promptly Faxing patient charts and pathology reports to referring clinics and providers Office Administration Ensuring waiting area is tidy and that patient drink station is stocked Ensuring employee breakroom is stocked As needed, assisting with washing and folding clinic-related laundry Monitoring and ordering office, medical or other general supplies #J-18808-Ljbffr
