Cybersecurity Engineer

Amentum is seeking Cybersecurity Engineer to support our U.S. Department of Energy contract. Positions will be based in the Washington, D.C area.Work Schedule: 5 days, 8hrsEssential Responsibilities: Provide a wide range of Cyber Intelligence (CI) services to deliver timely, actionable, and relevant threat intelligence on hostile nation-states, cyber adversaries, and criminals seeking to conduct malicious cyber activities against U.S. energy sector partners.Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):5–12+ years designing, implementing, or securing enterprise IT and operational technology environments.Experience with cloud security, Zero Trust, RMF, NIST 800-53, endpoint security, vulnerability management, and system hardening.Experience supporting Authority to Operate (ATO) packages and continuous monitoring.Security+, CISSP, Azure Security, AWS Security, or equivalent certificationsSecurity Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI or DOE QOther Responsibilities:Safety - Amentum enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment.
