Duration: 4 Months - Possible Extension / Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: Mon - Fri 6:00 AM - 1: 30 PM, every Saturday 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Job Description:
Seeking an Entry Level Phlebotomist / Patient Service Representative I (PSR I) to provide exceptional patient care and customer service in a laboratory setting. This role is primarily focused on patient check-in, lobby support, and customer service , with phlebotomy coverage provided during breaks and staffing shortages.

Responsibilities:

Greet patients and assist with check-in using kiosks/tablets.
Answer patient questions and explain procedures with care and compassion.
Maintain a professional, clean, and welcoming lobby environment.
Support phlebotomy staff during breaks and staffing shortages.
Perform phlebotomy and clinical/forensic specimen collection when assigned.
Complete documentation and data entry accurately while maintaining patient confidentiality.
Follow established safety, quality, and laboratory procedures.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent - Required.
Phlebotomy experience - Required , including internship/externship experience.
1-2 years of customer-facing experience - Required (healthcare, retail, home health, hospitality, etc.).
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Keyboarding/data entry experience required.
Ability to work in both lobby and draw-room environments.
Compassionate, professional, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
