Bookkeeper

We are looking for a skilled accountant to play a key role on our growing team. You’ll be responsible for recording all our financial transactions including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments, and posting information to accounting journals and QuickBooks. You must have experience with QuickBooks Desktop AND Payroll experience.Compensation:35 - 45 hourlyResponsibilities:Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct daybook, suppliers ledger, customer ledger, and general ledgerPerform bookkeeping duties: Maintain data on financial statementsProperly record financial transactionsProcess accounts receivable and accounts payable in a timely mannerPrepare all financial statements and bank reconciliationsManage payroll duties to ensure employees are paid on timeQualifications:Worked previously with basic accounting systems, QuickBooks, and ExcelExcellent time management, problem-solving, and communication skillsStrong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)2+ years of work experience at an accounting firm or as a bookkeeper, cost accountant, management accountant, or similar positionBachelor's degree in accounting or related fieldAbout CompanyMuldoon Associates, Inc. is a family-owned company.
