Financial Center Banker

Position Overview As part of the Branch Banking team, the Financial Center Banker provides deep knowledge of Northwest products and services to deliver financial options to clients through a consultative approach while expanding the banking relationship. Essential Functions Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed performance targets related to customer satisfaction, product sales, and financial wellness conversations. Continuously improve skills and knowledge through training and professional development opportunities. Financial Needs Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify areas for improvement and growth, analyzing accounts, transactions, and behaviors to offer personalized recommendations. Operational Soundness: Ensure compliance with banking regulations, policies, and procedures; provide leadership and maintain efficiency, accuracy, and security in all operational activities. Leadership & Culture: Deliver exceptional customer service experiences and address concerns or complaints promptly, turning negative experiences into positive ones. Customer Engagement: Initiate proactive conversations to build rapport, understand financial objectives, and uncover opportunities to enhance financial well‑being. Relationship Building: Build long‑term relationships by providing ongoing support, follow‑up, and proactive assistance. Compliance & Regulations: Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to mitigate risk; maintain confidentiality and protect customer information. Technology Proficiency: Use Microsoft Office and department‑specific software to maximize efficiency. Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team and with on‑site equipment. Security & Operations: Follow all security and dual‑control processes, and perform daily branch tasks, including opening and closing duties as needed. Additional Duties: Complete other duties and special projects as requested by management. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Establish effective working relationships among team members and participate in problem‑solving and decision‑making. Present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, tailored to the audience. Make sound decisions based on analytical reasoning and maintain good judgment in ambiguous situations. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Work Experience: • 1 year of banking and/or retail experience preferred.• Sales experience preferred.• Customer service experience preferred.
