Job Summary:
The Warehouse Receiver is responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and documenting incoming materials and products. This role ensures that all deliveries meet company standards and are properly stored to support efficient warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders and packing slips
• Inspect materials for damage, defects, or shortages and report discrepancies
• Accurately record received goods in inventory systems
• Label and organize products for proper storage and easy retrieval
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (as certified)
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Collaborate with warehouse, inventory, and delivery teams to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous warehouse or receiving experience is a plus
• Previous forklift experience
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Ability to operate or willingness to learn warehouse equipment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs regularly
• Standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods
• Comfortable working in indoor and outdoor warehouse environments

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced warehouse setting
• Exposure to varying temperatures depending on season
• Use of safety equipment such as gloves, steel-toe boots, and vests required
