Postal Services Processor
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Postal Services Processor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring accurate sorting, handling, and distribution of postal items in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort and process incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Verify and record postal transactions accurately
- Ensure timely distribution of mail to appropriate departments or recipients
- Maintain records of postal activities and prepare reports as needed
- Operate postal equipment and machinery safely and efficiently
- Adhere to postal regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with team members to improve mail handling processes
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in postal services or mail processing preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle repetitive tasks with accuracy
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift and move mailbags and packages as required
