Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care. This role requires expertise in various clinical skills and strong interpersonal abilities. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, motivated, and committed to fostering a safe and supportive environment for patients.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform phlebotomy and place intravenous lines as required.Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond to emergencies, coordinating with Rapid Response Teams as necessary.Administer IV therapy and manage peripheral line care.Provide respiratory support, including the use of nasal cannulas, oxygen face masks, and portable oxygen tanks.Implement isolation precautions when necessary to ensure patient safety.Treat and manage patients with cardiovascular conditions and wounds.Patient RatiosDay/Evening: 5 to 1 (with opportunities to stretch to 6-7 to 1).Night: Expected to be 6-7 to 1 (with stretches to 8-10 in cases of staff shortages).QualificationsMust possess a current Registered Nurse license.A minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience is required.Experience in medical-surgical, telemetry, or emergency departments is preferred.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.Cardiac monitoring skills and experience with dysrhythmia management are essential.Knowledge of EPIC electronic health record system is preferred.Must be willing to float to various units, including Medical-Surgical, ICU, and Emergency Department, while adhering to scope of practice.Schedule RequirementsMust be available to work every other weekend.Open to accommodating block schedules, though not guaranteed.Additional InformationOrientation includes a 4-hour classroom session with an educator, followed by on-the-unit training during a 12-hour shift.Local candidates (within 75 miles) are not accepted.Please limit requests for time off to about one week.This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of patients and their families in a supportive and professional environment.
