Details Work in the IMC Med-Surgical A unit of a hospital setting Care for post cardiac cath and post surgical patients Manage patients on high-risk medications including cardizem, heparin, nitroglycerin, insulin, ketamine, and lidocaine drips Treat respiratory patients on NIPPV support such as BiPAP and AIRVO Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Full-time, 13-week assignment Requirements Active New Mexico RN license or current Compact state RN license required Current BLS certification from AHA required Current ACLS certification from AHA required Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program Knowledge and skills appropriate to age/type of patient population served Additional Information Perform initial patient assessments and establish care priorities based on age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs Systematically reassess patients to identify progress and trends requiring intervention Develop and implement individualized plans of care within established nursing standards Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning Perform various point of care testing procedures Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility Previous CHRISTUS Health System employees must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible for this travel assignment First-time travelers are welcome to apply These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
