Speech Language Pathologist

7 Senses Therapy Center, Inc. is seeking a full-time pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for working with children and families, a go-getter attitude, and experience with Gestalt Language Processing and ASD, neurodiversity-affirming practice, AAC, early language, speech sound disorders, and fluency. Necessary Qualifications: Completion of Master’s or Doctorate degree in Communication Sciences or a related field from an accredited institution. Active license (in good standing) to practice as an SLP in the state of Virginia (or eligible to obtain). Successful completion of Certificate of Clinical Competence. (Not currently accepting clinical fellows) Strong communication and client advocacy skills. Experience with electronic medical records. Proof of current CPR and Basic Life Support certification (or willing to obtain). Proof of COVID-19 vaccination preferred due to our young and medically-complex populations. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of pediatric patients to evaluate speech and language disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and progress. Provide speech therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance communication skills. Collaborate with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to support patient development. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes. Stay updated on the latest research and techniques in speech-language pathology and participate in ongoing professional development.
