Job Description Fire Door Carpenter – Kent Permanent, full time Up To £42,500 Plus Van, Phone And Company Benefits We are delighted to be supporting a growing organisation in their search for a reliable Fire Door Carpenter. This role will play a key part in strengthening their fire safety division and providing hands on support to the existing Supervisor as workload continues to increase. Role Overview The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of fire doors across a range of commercial and residential properties. You will ensure all work meets current fire safety regulations and industry standards, contributing to the delivery of a high quality, compliant service. Key Responsibilities Install new fire doors and fire door sets in line with regulatory requirements Carry out fire door inspections, identifying defects and producing accurate reports Complete repairs, adjustments, and replacements to ensure full compliance Work closely with the Fire Safety Supervisor to support planned and reactive workloads Maintain accurate documentation, including inspection forms and job sheets Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally, and to a high standard Communicate effectively with clients, tenants, and internal teams What We’re Looking For Proven experience as a Fire Door Carpenter or Fire Door Installer Strong understanding of fire safety regulations and fire door compliance standards Ability to carry out detailed inspections and produce clear, accurate reports Skilled in carpentry, door installation, and remedial works Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team Full UK driving licence #J-18808-Ljbffr Hampshire Recruitment Group
