Shift: 7:00 AM 5:00 PM. Schedule is subject to change based on production needs
Pay: Based on Experience. Compensation Pay will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
Position Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:
Mancan is in partnership with a company who is seeking an experienced Crane Operator to stage and move steel coils for three slitting lines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating overhead cranes and be comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment. This position requires a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to safely maneuver heavy steel coils and materials.

Job Duties:
-Stage steel coils for three slitting lines according to production needs.
-Operate 15-ton and 20-ton overhead cranes to safely move and position coils.
-Operate overhead cranes using a C-hook and, when needed, a coil caddy.Safely load and position coils for the slitting lines.
-Operate a forklift as needed to assist with loading and staging materials.
-Inspect equipment and work areas to help ensure safe operation.
-Follow all company safety procedures and proper material-handling practices.
-Communicate with production team members to coordinate coil movement and staging.
-Maintain an organized and safe work area.
-Perform other material-handling and production support duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
-Previous overhead crane operating experience is required.
-Experience handling steel coils or similar heavy industrial materials preferred.
-Experience operating 15-ton and 20-ton overhead cranes strongly preferred.
-Familiarity with C-hooks and coil caddies preferred.
-Forklift operating experience preferred.
-Ability to safely work around heavy equipment and industrial machinery.
-Strong attention to safety and detail.
-Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
-Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a production team.
