Position Overview


We are seeking an experienced Business Project Manager to support ongoing facilities projects within the Public Safety sector. Reporting to Support Services, this individual will take ownership of multiple active project workstreams, assess project progress, address challenges, and help ensure projects remain aligned with established timelines, priorities, and recovery plans.


The ideal candidate is a strong project leader who can work effectively across business units, technical teams, vendors, and senior leadership. This person should be comfortable managing competing priorities, identifying risks, resolving issues independently, and providing clear, data-driven updates on project health and progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate multiple active facilities project workstreams, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
• Assess overall project health by evaluating schedules, scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and progress across workstreams.
• Develop and implement practical, data-driven project reporting processes to track milestones, performance, risks, and project status.
• Establish clear ownership and accountability across teams, follow up on action items, remove roadblocks, and maintain progress against recovery plans.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with business stakeholders, technical teams, project sponsors, vendors, and leadership.
• Communicate project status, critical risks, decisions, dependencies, and required actions clearly and consistently to stakeholders and senior management.
• Identify potential project delays, risks, and change impacts early, and take proactive steps to resolve issues and minimize disruption.
• Coordinate activities across project teams to ensure workstreams remain aligned and interdependent tasks are completed on schedule.
• Translate business requirements into actionable project plans and communicate technical challenges in terms of business impact, options, and recommended next steps.
• Support project recovery efforts by monitoring progress, addressing execution gaps, and ensuring teams remain focused on key priorities.
• Navigate challenging stakeholder relationships and high-pressure situations with professionalism, sound judgment, and clear communication.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously.
• Strong project planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting skills.
• Ability to assess project health, identify risks and dependencies, and develop corrective action plans.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present project updates to senior leadership.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to drive accountability, resolve blockers, and maintain momentum in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to translate business needs and technical constraints into clear, actionable plans.
