Production Equipment Operator Job Type: Contract – 12 Months Hours: 40 Hours/Week Shift: 1st Shift — 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM Start (TBD) Pay Rate: $18.00–$20.00/Hour Overtime: After 40 Hours Job Summary We are seeking a Production Equipment Operator to operate semiautomated manufacturing equipment under close supervision. The ideal candidate will perform routine equipment setup, basic troubleshooting, quality checks, and production documentation while following safety and quality procedures. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor semiautomated production equipment. Perform equipment changeovers, calibrations, line clearances, and routine preventive maintenance. Conduct first-article inspections and routine quality checks. Complete production, quality, and equipment documentation accurately. Maintain a clean and sterile work environment. Follow all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and standard work procedures. Handle material requisitions and assist with inventory management. Participate in daily production meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Report equipment or production issues and assist with basic troubleshooting. Support process improvements and help meet daily production goals. Requirements Manufacturing or production equipment experience preferred. Basic troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude. Ability to follow detailed work instructions and safety procedures. Strong attention to detail and documentation skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
