Key responsibilities Conduct comprehensive engineering and technical safety analyses across complex systems Document detailed findings for investigative and safety reports in compliance with industry standards Review and assess problem reports for safety impacts, ensuring risk mitigation Required qualifications Minimum 15 years of experience as a safety engineer in a technical environment Proven expertise in SSHAR, SAR, HTS, and FHA safety analysis per MIL-STD-882E Strong technical writing and documentation skills Ability to independently manage safety assessments and reporting Effective communication for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
