Through our distinct clinical expertise, digital capabilities, and broad access to specialty medications across a wide range of conditions, we deliver an elevated experience, affordability, and personalized support throughout the consumer's treatment journey.The Pharmacy Technician I - BioPlus Specialty Pharmacy is responsible for the interpretation and data entry of basic prescriptions, prior authorization processing, and troubleshooting adjudication issues.How you will make an impact:Verifies member information and accurately enters prescription data to support pharmacists.Educates members on pharmacy guidelines related to medications, coverage, and available assistance programs.Reviews and processes prescription requests from providers' offices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable guidelines; communicates updates to appropriate parties.Assists in resolving member and provider inquiries related to pharmacy services and medication access.Responds to questions from physicians, internal teams, and members regarding formulary details and prescription benefits.Generates reports related to rebates, provider utilization, Beers Criteria, Reliance members, and other ad hoc requests.Maintains accurate records of prescription activity, rebates, and routine reporting metrics.Minimum Requirements:Requires H.S. diploma or equivalent and minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.Current State Pharmacy Tech.
