Position Overview West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation are recruiting a physiatrist (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor) at Morgantown, WV. The role involves clinical practice in physical medicine and rehabilitation, teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and active engagement in our integrated residency program. Responsibilities Practice in physical medicine and rehabilitation. Provide excellent patient care. Actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Qualifications MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent) and eligibility for state medical license. Completion of a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency program. Board certified or eligible in physical medicine and rehabilitation. Excellent clinical skills and strong interest in education and research. Special interest in medical management of rehabilitation needs for neurologic and general rehabilitation patients, procedural skills in spasticity management.
