Lot Technician Full-Time (Marine & Powersports)

Looking for a full-time outdoor job in Red Wing, MN where you can stay active and work around boats, motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, snowmobiles, and other recreational vehicles?

River Valley Power and Sport is hiring a Full-Time Lot Technician to support our growing marine and powersports operations. This is a hands-on role responsible for receiving, moving, preparing, transporting, and organizing inventory while supporting our Sales, Service, and Parts departments.

Compensation

$21.00 $25.00 per hour

Starting wage based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Monday Friday, 8:30 a.m. 5:00 p.m.

Hours may vary based on business needs.

Position Overview

The Lot Technician plays a critical role in ensuring our marine and powersports inventory is organized, clean, accessible, and ready for sale or customer delivery. This position supports daily dealership operations by moving inventory, maintaining the facility grounds, assisting with deliveries, and helping create a professional appearance throughout the dealership.

This is a physically active, full-time position that works primarily outdoors in all weather conditions throughout the year.

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare new and used boats, motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles, trailers, and other recreational vehicles for sale and customer delivery
• Clean and detail inventory using pressure washers, vacuums, cleaning products, and detailing equipment
• Receive and unload incoming marine and powersports inventory and inspect products for shipping damage
• Move inventory safely between the lot, showroom, service department, storage areas, and customer delivery locations
• Operate forklifts, trucks, trailers, and dealership equipment safely and efficiently
• Load, unload, trailer, and transport inventory as needed
• Maintain lot organization, inventory displays, and dealership cleanliness
• Assist customers with product pickups and deliveries
• Support the Service, Parts, and Sales departments with day-to-day operational needs
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and professional dealership environment

Requirements

• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday
• Basic computer skills
• Forklift and trailer experience preferred
• Previous experience in marine, powersports, outdoor labor, transportation, landscaping, construction, farming, or a lot technician role is a plus
