Phlebotomist 5404This is a temporary position with potential for permanent placementLocation: Charlotte, NCSchedule: First shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pmProjected duration: 3 months or more with possibility of permanent employmentBenefits are providedRequires at least 12 months of relevant experienceResponsibilitiesExperience with blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifuge operation, data recording, decontamination, updating patient details, etc. Ensures correct collection and storage of specimens in accordance with established protocols. Clearly explains the venipuncture process and other specimen collection procedures. Uses straight needles and butterfly needles proficiently. Understands all physician orders. Matches requisition forms to specimen tubes, labels specimens, centrifuges, splits, freezes as needed, packages for transport, follows proper storage procedures, complies with regulations, attends trainings, and answers inquiries.Minimum RequirementsValid Phlebotomy certification, 6 months of venipuncture experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, High School Diploma or equivalent, minimum 1 year of relevant experience
