Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cath Lab/IR


Location: Topeka, KS


Pay: $2,992.00 per week


Shifts: 0.9 FTE (four 9-hour shifts) 0730-1700, with on-call night every Monday and every 4th weekend.


Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology for an exciting travel assignment in Topeka, KS. This role starts ASAP and involves providing professional nursing care in a dynamic cardiac catheterization environment. Nurses will work four 9-hour shifts per week and participate in a scheduled on-call rotation.

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Cath Lab/IR

• Perform patient assessment and continuous monitoring during cardiac procedures
• Administer medications, including sedation, per orders and policy
• Assist physicians during invasive cardiovascular and peripheral procedures
• Monitor cardiac rhythm, hemodynamic status, and patient response to changes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately
• Educate patients and families about procedures and recovery
• Participate in Cath Lab on-call rotation for emergent cardiovascular cases
• Demonstrate nursing practice guided by Jean Watson's Theory of Human Caring
• Foster effective communication and collaborative work environment
• Mentor staff and students as assigned
• Engage in shared governance, quality improvement, and evidence-based initiatives

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Cath Lab/IR

• AHA BLS certification and KS or multistate license required at submission
• Recent Cath Lab experience within the last year
• Experience with STEMI, PCI, Impella, IABP, peripheral angiogram, and intervention work
• Proficiency with GE MacLab and EPIC charting systems
