We are currently recruiting for Foremen for our Northeast and Boston operations. Projects typically consist of concrete repair, masonry restoration, FRP, waterproofing, and structural strengthening in commercial and industrial settings.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:On-site supervision of field crews while accurately estimating labor requirementsDeveloping crew schedules and ensuring work has been completed according to plans and specificationsCompleting daily field reports, purchase orders, delivery tickets and speed memos for customers and internal managementEnsuring crews are operating tools and equipment in a safe, proper and productive mannerAssisting Project Managers in evaluating various production rates related to the projectCandidates who meet the following criteria may be considered for this exciting position based in our large Operations division:7+ years of experience in general construction with at least 3 of those years in a Leadman or similar positionPrevious experience running 1-2 projects simultaneouslyProven ability to supervise up to 2 field leaders with various crew sizes with minimal subcontract oversightDemonstrated ability to read, interpret and execute to construction drawings and contract specificationsEstablished commitment to safetyProven experience to produce look-ahead schedules and work with other construction documents as required by the projectDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively with the customer, crew and project teamsBasic computer skills and construction math skillsPreference given to those with experience working with Concrete Restoration, Historic Restoration, General Masonry Repairs and FRPAs we are a union contractor, you will either need to be a union member or interested in participating in the union to be considered.We anticipate this position paying Union Foreman rates.The minimum requirements for this position include the ability to pass a standard MVR check and have reliable transportation. Record of previous safety training is preferred.
